The pay? Well, according to a study on volunteerism published by the National Corporation for Community Service, how about improved mental health? A better community? An even better parks system? You can’t put a dollar figure on benefits like those.

But we can put a dollar figure on how much our volunteers contribute to Cincinnati Parks. By the end of 2007, 87,736 hours of help by nearly 7,000 volunteers contributed $1.42 million in labor and services to Cincinnati Parks. We think that if you like our parks, you’ll love helping out.
