At the 2010 Hats Off Luncheon, Judy Dalambakis, on behalf of the Women’s Committee of Cincinnati Riverfront Park, presented the Phyllis Smale Award to Marjorie Motch. As Ms. Motch received her award, the crowd of over 500 luncheon guests was on its feet to express their gratitude to this remarkable woman.

Ms. Motch’s dedication to community service cannot be overstated. She has volunteered for local, national and international organizations for more than sixty years. Her long list of achievements include serving as National President of the Association of Junior Leagues, National Board President of the Girl Scouts of the USA, and President and Founder of the Urban League Guild; co-chairing the University of Cincinnati greenspace renovation and mentoring many young women. The Cincinnati Park Board is grateful Ms. Motch continued her passionate advocacy of greenspace by serving as the first President of the Cincinnati Parks Foundation Board of Trustees.
