2010 Fall ReLeaf Program

Cincinnati Park board is hosting the 24th annual Fall ReLeaf Program. Through generous donations by Duke Energy and the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, 550 trees are available free of charge to residents and property owners within the City of Cincinnati. The program’s goal is to provide trees to properties that do not have enough space in the public right-of-way for a street tree.

Gift of $1 Million from the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts for the Stage & Event Lawn At Cincinnati Riverfront Park

The first $500,000 of a $1 million gift from the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts was presented to the Cincinnati Park Board by Heidi Jark, manager and vice president of the Foundation Office at Fifth Third Bank. The gift creates the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Stage and Event Lawn in Cincinnati Riverfront Park, a major feature of the new 45-acre park currently under construction.
